Daryl Spidel Wade, age 68, of Elkhart, passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born on November 30, 1952 in Elkhart to George and Mary Grace Wade.

Daryl married Carol Hay on June 18, 1987. She preceded him in death on April 13, 2021.

Daryl worked in a warehouse/ logistics. He enjoyed watching drag racing and going on drives in the country with his wife. He also enjoyed listening to the Beatles and classic rock. He truly loved spending time with his family and friends.

Daryl is survived his children, Shawn Jordan of White Settlement, TX., Brian (Billie) Wade of Ft. Worth, TX. and Joshua Wade of Ft. Worth, TX.; grandchildren, Jacob Moore, Peyton Moore, Jedidiah Walker, Evelyn Wade, Jeremy Jordan and Jennifer Allsup; sister, Marabeth (Donald) Muhlnickel of Middlebury and brother Tom (Sandy) Wade of Bedford, TX., sister-in-law, Shirley Fitzgerald of Tangent, OR.

Daryl was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Brent Barkman.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Violett Cemetery in Goshen.
