Christopher J. Moyer 36, of Nappanee passed away Thursday May 7, 2020, due to injuries he sustained in a motor vehicle accident.

He was born July 18, 1983, in Elkhart, Indiana to Randall "Randy" Moyer and Lisa (Conant) Moyer.

Chris is survived by his father and stepmother, Randy (Karen) Moyer, mother Lisa (Bryan) Culp, four brothers; Matthew (Jamie) Moyer, Justin (Nicole) Moyer, Daniel Moyer, Bradley Culp, five sisters; Sarah Culp, Allison Moyer, Emily Moyer, Lily (Neil) Culp and Chloe Moyer. Also surviving are seven nephews, three nieces and his former spouse Rachelle Moyer.

He was preceded in death by a niece, Lauren Moyer and his grandparents.

Chris worked as an electrician for the family business Moyer Electric.

He graduated from NorthWood High School in 2002 and pursued further education at Y.W.A.M University in Kona, Hawaii. He lived in Maui, Hawaii for eight years before moving back home to work for the family business.

He enjoyed snowboarding, skating and surfing. He had a strong love for Jesus and a deep love for his family.

Funeral services for Chris will be held on Tuesday, May 12 at 4 p.m. at the Wakarusa Missionary Church, 202 W. Waterford St. Wakarusa, IN 46573. The Reverend Jeremy LeVan will be officiating.

Memorial contributions may be given to Y.W.A.M or the Wakarusa Missionary Youth program.
