Chester A. Miller
Chester A. Miller, 83, Millersburg, died at 7:04 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, 2020, at Goshen Health Hospital.
He was born on Sept. 5, 1936, in Goshen to Andrew and Susie (Hochstetler) Miller.
On Jan. 1, 1959, in Goshen, he married Treva Bontrager. She survives.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, are two sons, Gerald (Mary Ruth) Miller and Galen (Wilma) Miller, all of Millersburg; two daughters, Grace (Wayne) Miller and Glenda (LaVern) Yoder, all of Goshen; 15 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and brother, Emanuel (Esther) Miller, Bolivar, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Ellen Miller; and brother, Vernon Miller.
Chester was a retired farmer and had worked at Jayco in Middlebury for many years. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church, and he was ordained as a minister in 1974.
Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, and all day Friday, Feb. 14, at the family's residence, 11960 C.R. 38, Millersburg. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, also at the family's residence. Services will be conducted by Bishop Marlin Hochstetler and the home ministers.
Burial will be in Clinton Union Cemetery, Goshen.
Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, Middlebury, is in charge of arrangements.
