Goshen, IN - Carolyn "Carrie" Joy McKee, 67, of Goshen, died at 10:08 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 9, at The Restoracy of Goshen.
She was born on Aug. 1, 1958, in Goshen, to Clarence and Sylvia (Worley) Hershberger.
On Sept. 5, 2015, in Goshen, she married John McKee, who died on May 16, 2021.
She is survived by her son, Shawn (Shannon) Humphries of Greenwood; two grandchildren, Maya and Andrew Humphries; four brothers, Steve (Kathy) Hershberger of Greenwood, Bill (Diane) Hershberger of Goshen, Dave (Dee) Hershberger of Burr Oak, Michigan, and Charlie Hershberger of Goshen.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John McKee; father, Clarence Hershberger; mother, Sylvia Nation; stepfather, John Nation.
Carrie was a member of Grace Community Church.
She worked as a waitress and loved her pets and the outdoors, including being on the water, taking care of her yard, tending to her flowers, and feeding the birds.
The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date.
Burial will be in Grace Lawn Cemetery, Middlebury.
Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, Middlebury, is assisting the family with arrangements.
