Betty L. Weaver
Betty L. Weaver, 84, Goshen, died at 1:05 p.m. Monday, Dec. 2, 2019, at Elkhart General Hospital.
She was born Sept. 2, 1935, in Goshen, to Russell H. and Pauline H. (Holden) Holden.
On July 26, 1996, she married LeRoy Gene Weaver and he died Nov. 12, 2011.
Surviving are a daughter, Kelli (Jeff) Weldy, South Bend; stepchildren, Cherrie Fox, Texas, Jill Weaver, Warsaw, Randy (Cathie) Weaver, Manawa, Wisconsin, and Erik (Stacie) Weaver, Hershey, Pennsylvania; two grandchildren; and siblings, Eva (Delbert) Miller and Ronald Holden, both of Goshen, Nolan (Darlene) Holden, Noblesville, and Byron (Karen) Holden, Goshen.
Preceding her in death are her parents, husband and three half-siblings.
Betty worked as a cook at Judd Drug Store, Goshen. A member of Church of Christ, Millersburg, she loved her church and her Lord. Betty loved to cook, to visit people, big garage sales and was an advocate for the veterans.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the 11 a.m. funeral service Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019, at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Goshen. Preacher David Main, Church of Christ, Millersburg, will officiate.
Burial will be in Elkhart Prairie Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial donations may be directed to the donors choice.
