Betty Lou Rider Obituary
Betty Lou Rider, 73, of Goshen, died Friday, March 25, at 5:30 a.m. at her residence in Goshen.
Mrs. Rider was born April 4, 1942, in Elkhart, Indiana, to the late Charles D. Vanlieu and Madge E. (Sheets) Vanlieu.
She was married to David Rider, and he also preceded her in death on March 23, 2015.
Betty is survived by three daughters and three sons-in-law, Diane (Alan) Henderson of Goshen, Donna (Lonnie) Reese and Deb (Ken) Sharp, both of Elkhart. Also surviving are eight grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sisters; Freda Bonham and Doris Scheinder; and one brother, Eugene Vanlieu.
In honoring Mrs. Rider's request cremation will take place.
A memorial service will be held at a later date and inurnment will take place at Violet Cemetery in Goshen.
