Millersburg, IN - Barbara Kae Bontrager, 59, of Millersburg, (district: 63-6), died unexpectedly late morning on Monday, April 27, at her home due to a suspected heart attack.

She was born on Jan. 26, 1967, in St. Joseph County, to Walter J. and Emma J. (Mast) Lehman.

On Jan. 1, 1986, in Millersburg, she married LaVern L. Bontrager. He survives.

Survivors in addition to her husband are four sons, LaVon Bontrager of Millington, Michigan, Daryl (Monica) Bontrager of Millersburg, Dale Bontrager at home, Loren (Waneta) Bontrager of LaGrange; three daughters, Brenda (Wayne) Frey of Millersburg, Karen (Brian) Bontrager of Rome City, Rose (Neal) Borntrager of Cromwell; 13 grandchildren; one sister, Mary Ann Stutzman of Goshen; two brothers, Ora (Rose) Lehman of Millersburg, Floyd (Lisa) Lehman of Goshen; eight step-siblings, Melvin (RaeAnn) Yoder of Arizona, Syl Yoder of Arizona, Orlin (Betty) Yoder of Nappanee, Anna (Bert) Miller of Milford, Linda (Dave) Troyer of Topeka, Dorothy (Richard) Slabaugh of Nappanee, Wilson (Rosetta) Yoder of Nappanee, Morris (Carolyn) Yoder of Milford.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Joyce Bontrager; three siblings, Willis, Ruth Elaine, Karen Sue Lehman; stepfather, Lewis Yoder; sister-in-law, Sharon Lehman; stepsister-in-law, Ella Yoder.

Barbara was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

Visitation will be after 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29, and all day Thursday, April 30, at the family's residence, 64065 E. Co. Line Rd., Millersburg.

Funeral services will be at 9:30 am on Friday, May 1, also at the family's residence.

Services will be conducted by Bishop Calvin F. Miller and the home ministers.

Burial will be in Southeast Clinton Cemetery, Goshen.
