Annabelle  Cripe
Annabelle Cripe, 92, died Monday, Sept. 16, at Goshen Hospital after a short illness.
She was born July 6, 1927 in Bremen, to Eli and Elizabeth (Borkholder) Burkholder, and was a lifetime area resident.
Annabelle married Elmer D. Cripe Sept. 2, 1962. He preceded her in death May 15, 2002.
She worked as an inspector at Goshen Rubber and retired from there in 1990.
Annabelle was a loving aunt and friend to many.
Surviving Annabelle are stepson Devon Junior Cripe, nine nieces and nephews and four stepgrandchildren.
Preceding her in death are her parents; a stepdaughter; sisters, Rosa Nisley and Lydia Mae Miller; brothers, Alvin E., Elmer and Floyd Burkholder; and an infant brother.
Visitation will take place Thursday, Sept. 19, from 9:30 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastor Ken Hunn of Jefferson Community Church will officiate.
Burial will follow at Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
Memorial contributions may be made to Jefferson Community Church or to the Goshen Cancer Center.
