Shipshewana, Indiana - Anna Marie Hostetler, 87, of Shipshewana (district: 44), died at 2:50 pm on Thursday, May 22, at Parkview Randallia Hospital, Fort Wayne. She was born on July 28, 1937, in Topeka, to Emmanuel and Abigail (Raber) Bontrager. On April 7, 1960, in LaGrange, she married Edward J. Hostetler, he survives. Survivors in addition to her husband are five daughters, Ruth (Delbert) Bontrager of Stevensville, MT, Rose (Ed) Miller of Millersburg, OH, Elizabeth (Mark) Schwab of Baroda, MI, Susan (Nelson) Miller of Shipshewana, Lora (Chad) Miller of Shipshewana; four sons, Floyd (Christine) Hostetler of Shipshewana, David (Dorothy) Hostetler of Shipshewana, Melvin (Esther) Hostetler of Topeka, Mervin (Laurie) Hostetler of Albion; 25 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; two brothers, Levi E. A. Bontrager of Goshen, Henry (Etta Fern) Bontrager of Topeka; three sisters, Katie (Calvin) Miller of Topeka, Esther (Orla) Miller of Topeka, Mary Miller of New Philadelphia, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents; two grandchildren, Heidi Hostetler & Myron Hostetler; sister, Irene Miller. Anna Marie was a homemaker and member of the Old Order Amish Church. Visitation will be after 2:00 pm Friday May 23, and all-day Saturday, May 24, at the Nelson Miller residence: 2145 N 735 W Shipshewana. Funeral services will be at 9:30 am on Sunday, May 25, at the same residence. Services will be conducted by Bishop Jeremy Lambright and the home ministers. Burial will be in East Barren Cemetery, Shipshewana. Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, Middlebury, is assisting the family with arrangements.
