Andrew M. Glick, 93, passed away at his home Wednesday, Aug. 31.

Andrew was born Sept. 16, 1922 in Homes County, Ohio, to the late Moses and Barbara (Hershberger) Glick.

On Sept. 19, 1953, he married Vilena Becker in Elkhart. She preceded him in death, passing away in 2006.

Surviving are his children Harold Glick of Xenia, Ohio, Randy (JoAnne) Glick and Shirley Morgan, all of Elkhart. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and his sister, Mary Hochstetler of Goshen.

He was preceded in death by a son, Leroy Glick; his siblings, Milo, Levi, John and Daniel Glick, Lizzie Miller and Anna Kramer; and a great granddaughter, TaraNova Glick.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the 1 p.m. funeral service Tuesday, Sept. 6, at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home in Elkhart.

Interment will follow in Prairie Street Cemetery, Elkhart.

Andrew was employed for over 30 years as a machine operator at NIBCO in Elkhart. He enjoyed fishing, working in his yard, and spending time with his wife, especially eating her home-cooked meals. Andrew would often quote Joyce Meyers to his family, saying "Look on the good things, and not think so much on the bad."

In his memory, donations may be given to the Center for Hospice.
