Wayne's Story

Wayne E. Fink, 91, Wakarusa, died at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 4, at Miller's Merry Manor, Wakarusa.
He was born Dec. 16, 1925, in Elkhart County, to Irvin and Maude (Culp) Fink.
Wayne is survived by six sisters, Miriam Klopfenstein and Marjorie Freed, both of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Doris Fink, Elkhart, Beatrice (Don) Yoder, Goshen, Wanda (John) Nicholas, Mill Creek, Sherrill (Glenn) Yoder, Elkhart; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Lowell and Glenn Fink.
He worked at Dexter Axel and was also a farmer. Wayne was a member of Olive Mennonite Church, Elkhart.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, with a service following at 11 a.m., all at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret-Lienhart Funeral Home, 117 W. Waterford St., Wakarusa. Pastor Joel Gentz will officiate.
Burial will take place at Olive (West) Cemetery.
