Ruth M. Larimer, 91, Wakarusa, died Wednesday, March 15, 2017 in Zephyrhills, Florida.
She was born March 24, 1925, in Mishawaka, to William James A. & Hazel L. (Marshall) Cunningham.
She married Oliver Larimer on Feb. 28, 1942. He died Oct. 7, 2001.
Surviving are daughters, Shirley (Leroy) Rassi, Goshen, Carol (John) Nemeti, Mishawaka and Diana (David) Hess, Wakarusa; a son, Oliver J. "Butch" (Josephine) Larimer, Port St. Lucie, Florida; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Oliver; son, James R. Larimer; and sisters, Lorraine Campbell, Mary Weston and Lavaughn McIntosh.
Ruth worked at Penn Controls, Goshen, and was owner of Larimer Furniture, Wakarusa. She was a member of Wakarusa United Methodist Church and American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed her family and crafts.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, and one hour prior to the 10:30 a.m. service Thursday, March 23, all at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret-Lienhart Funeral Home, 117 W. Waterford St., Wakarusa. Pastor Ed Geleske will officiate.
Burial will follow at Violett Cemetery.
