Russell W. Krueger, 48, died unexpectedly Saturday at his home of natural causes.
He was born Nov. 3, 1968 in Goshen to Alfred and Suzanne (Cottingham) Krueger.
They survive along with his wife of 26 years, April (McGill); daughters, Tabitha Krueger, Goshen, Amanda (Zion) DeMent, Radcliff/Fort Knox, Kentucky, and Morgan Krueger, Goshen; stepdaughters, Ashley George, Mesa, Arizona, and Emilie Bishop, Apache Junction, Arizona; five grandchildren; sisters, Cathy (Steve) Gingerich, Goshen, and Lisa Winchester, Cassopolis, Michigan; and brothers, David (Priscilla) Krueger, Doug Krueger, and Ron Krueger, all of Goshen.
He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Gregory Winchester, father-in-law, Freddie Wilson, and mother-in-law, Christine McGill.
Russell worked at Monteith Tire, Goshen for 34 years specializing in servicing farm equipment tires. He was an avid fisherman and Notre Dame football fan; and a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and son.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Sept. 19, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen, and one hour prior to the 11 a.m. funeral service Wednesday, Sept. 20, also at the funeral home. Family friends, Pastor Charles DeMent and Charles Barker, will officiate.
Burial will follow at Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
Memorial contributions may be given to Yoder-Culp Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
