Rosetta Miller, 67, Middlebury, died at 6:05 a.m. Monday, May 15, at her residence. She had been in failing health, battling cancer the last two and a half years.
She was born April 28, 1950, in Bremen, to Melvin E. and Lovina Mae (Hochstetler) Schwietert.
On Nov. 1, 1969 in White Pigeon, Michigan, she married Ray Miller, who survives.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Carmela Miller, Elkhart, and Rita (Curtis) Stutzman, Middlebury; son, Mike (Amber) Miller, Elkhart; 16 grandchildren; two sisters, Lucille Hodge, Sun City, Arizona, and JoAnn (Neal) Beachy, Etna Green; and brother, Eugene (Martha) Schwietert, Goshen.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a stillborn son; two brothers, Randy Schwietert, and infant Kenneth Schwietert; and a stillborn grandson.
Rosetta was a member of Roselawn Mennonite Church. She was the second secretary of Jayco, owner of the Bed and Breakfast at the Patchwork Quilt and ran that Pretty Place Bed and Breakfast. She enjoyed singing with the Harmony singers for many years.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 18, at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, 1003 S. Main St., Middlebury. There will also be one hour of visitation prior to the 10 a.m. funeral service Friday, May 19, at Fairhaven Mennonite Church, Goshen. Services will be conducted by Pastors Thad Lechlitner, Curtis Stutzman and Troy Brubacher.
Burial will be at Thomas Cemetery, Goshen.
