Michael James "Mike" Mignery, 84, Cromwell, passed away at 9:03 a.m. Sunday, June 11, at Goshen Hospital.
He was born Oct. 15, 1932, in St. Joseph, Missouri, to William J. and Nastina "Nell" (Pukszyn) Mignery.
He graduated in 1950 from Jefferson High School in Elkhart County.
He was married Dec. 24, 1951, in Goshen, to Meredith Lee Hess, who survives.
They moved to Cromwell in 1958 from Goshen. He was the owner and operator of AAA Marine Covers in Cromwell since 1963 and was very active in the upholstery restorative process of many cars at the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum.
He was a member of the Rock Church in Cromwell.
He is survived by his wife, Meredith Mignery, Cromwell; two daughters, Cindy Davison, Fort Wayne, and Michelle Mignery, Syracuse; son, Mark (Sandy) Mignery, Cromwell; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; brother, William C. Mignery, Cromwell; and daughter-in-law, Nancy Mignery, Warsaw.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Patrick Mignery; and great-granddaughter, Samantha Muchowicz.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. Ind. 15, Warsaw.
There will be one hour of visitation prior to the 3 p.m. memorial service Sunday, June 25, at Rock Church, 9564 E. 1050 North, Cromwell. Dr. Gary and Pastor Sarah Tuttle will officiate.
