Larry Herschberger, 64, died Saturday morning, June 24, at his home.
He was born June 30, 1952, in Wolf Lake, to Henry and Wilma (Troyer) Herschberger.
On Jan. 7, 1983, he married Mary Watson in Goshen.
She survives along with two daughters, Desiree (Tim Kopp) Herschberger, Washington, D.C., and Carrie (Matt) Ritchie, White Pigeon, Michigan; a son, Nathan (Crystal) Herschberger, Clermont, Florida; two grandchildren, Noah and Tanner Ritchie; three brothers, Hank (Melody) Herschberger, Goshen, Titus Herschberger, Golden, Colorado, and Wes (Janelle) Herschberger, Millersburg; and a sister, Chris (Courtney) Stump, Goshen.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Larry was a member of Hillcrest United Methodist Church, Elkhart. He was a very good handy man, able to fix most anything. He worked in sales and maintenance in the appliance industry. When he wasn't fixing things, he enjoyed time in the garden.
Visitation will begin Wednesday, June 28, at 4 p.m. prior to the 5 p.m. memorial service at Hillcrest United Methodist Church, 4206 E. Bristol St, Elkhart. The Rev. Mike Butler will officiate.
Cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory with burial at Vistula Cemetery, Middlebury, at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be given to Hillcrest United Methodist Church.
