Kathryn Knisley, 83, Syracuse, passed away Saturday, July 8, at Goshen Hospital.
She was born Dec. 15, 1933, in Chicago, Illinois, to Herman and Ruth (Sloan) Huey.
On April 13, 1952, she married Kenneth R. Knisley, who survives.
She was a lifetime and emerita member of Lakeland Woman's Bowling Association. She had been employed by General Telephone, Wawasee Bowl, Thornburg Drugs, First Federal of Wabash and Pamida.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth R. Knisley, Syracuse; three sons, Kevin Knisley, Bristol, Dana (Gloria) Knisley and Brian (Sarah) Knisley, both of Syracuse; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a sister, Wanda (William) Patrick, Mississippi.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Dixie, three brothers and a sister.
The family will receive friends Saturday, July 15, from 2 p.m. until the 4 p.m. service at Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse. The Rev. Brad Cox will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Goshen Hospice or the Dollars for Scholars.
