JoeAnn's Story

JoeAnn Coss, 90, Goshen, passed away peacefully early Friday morning, July 7, at Greencroft Goshen Health Care.
JoeAnn was the beloved wife of the late William E. Coss of Bristol for 50 years.
An area resident since 1933, JoeAnn will be remembered for her generosity and her wonderful sense of humor.
JoeAnn taught for many years at her ceramics studio south of Bristol where she was active with the 4-H Fair and the Boy Scouts. She also served as a volunteer at Greencroft, making many new friends even late in her life.
Survivors include two children, Linda Coss, Birmingham, Michigan, and David (Gina) Coss, Virginia Beach, Virginia; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Donald Campbell, Elkhart.
Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Douglas; three sisters, Evaellen Korenstra, Marjorie Hamood and Betty McCoy; and a brother, Robert Campbell.
A graveside memorial service will take place Tuesday, July 11, at 3:30 p.m. at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Bristol.
The family would like to express their deep thanks to the staff at Greencroft for their sustained and compassionate care.
Memorial contributions may be given to Greencroft or a charity of the donor's choice.
