Erma L. Edelman, 82, Wakarusa, died Sunday, June 18, at Miller's Merry Manor.
Erma was born March 19, 1935, in Elkhart County, to Vernon and Alva (Culp) Huber.
On Nov. 3, 1977, she married Leonard E. Edelman in Adamsville, Michigan. He preceded her in death May 20, 2003.
Erma is survived by a stepdaughter, Delcena Lambdin, Elkhart; a step-granddaughter, Rochelle (Steve) Price, Elkhart; two step-great-grandchildren; brother, Earl (Beverly) Huber, Wakarusa; sister-in-law, Barbara Huber, Goshen; nieces and nephews, Debra (Robert) Cunningham, Susan Chell, Karen (Denny) Mast, Steve (Ramona) Huber, Ron (Mary) Huber and Jerry Huber.
She was preceded in death by a stepson, Leonard D. Edelman, and a brother, Carl Huber.
Erma was employed with Selmer's for more than 23 years. She was an avid NASCAR fan and was known to revel in the defeat of Notre Dame. She loved hummingbirds.
Friends may call from 3 until 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 21, at Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home, Elkhart.
A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:35 a.m. for the 10 a.m. graveside service, Thursday, June 22, at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Orville Banks will officiate.
