Elizabeth J. Troyer, 87, LaGrange, died at 5:25 p.m. Sunday, March 26, at Parkview LaGrange Hospital.
She was born on July 14, 1929, in Nappanee, to Jacob V. and Elizabeth (Kuhns) Lambright.
On March 10, 1988, in LaGrange County, she married Cornelius C. Troyer. He passed away Oct. 22, 1989.
Surviving are eight stepchildren, Ernest (Edna) Troyer of Monroe, David Troyer of Elwood, Anna (Andrew) Kauffman of Fort Wayne, LaVern (Carol) Troyer of Berne, Roman (Esther) Troyer of Monroe, Emma (Jeffery) Robinette of Fort Wayne, Miriam (Mitchell) Johnson of Manchester and Paul (Melinda) Troyer of Topeka; 44 stepgrandchildren; 170 step great-grandchildren; two brothers, Menno Lambright of Scottville, Michigan, and Ervin Lambright of Mansfield, Missouri; and sister, Sadie Bontrager of Homer, Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; stepson, Joseph Troyer; two brothers, Levi and Harvey Lambright; three sisters, Fannie Schwartz, Mattie Mishler and Mary Miller; four half brothers, Clamies, John, Amos and Oba Lambright; step daughter-in-law, Patricia Troyer; and two stepgrandchildren.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Monday, March 27 and all day Tuesday, March 28, at the Norman Mishler residence, 0040 S. 600 West, LaGrange, where funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 29. Services will be conducted by Bishop John Mishler and the home ministers.
Burial will be at Yoder Cemetery, Shipshewana.
Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, Middlebury, is assisting the family with arrangements.
