Dorothy E. (Lantz) Bontrager, 89, Goshen, died at 1:55 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, at the Courtyard of Goshen.
She was born Dec. 22, 1927, in Topeka, to Earl and Louella (Yoder) Lantz.
On July 11, 1948, she married Edwin Bontrager. He passed away Dec. 5, 1981
She later married Peter Lichti. He passed away Feb. 16, 2000.
Surviving are two daughters, Mary Kathryn Thompson of New Paris and Glenda (Norm) Miller of Goshen; son, Larry (Karen) Bontrager of Topeka; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; two sisters, Betty Kauffman of Goshen and Mary Etta Morton of South Bend.
She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, an infant son and two brothers, Harold and Kenneth Lantz.
Dorothy was a member of Clinton Frame Church and had provided transportation for the Amish. She loved her flower garden, enjoyed crocheting and quilting. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
There will be one hour of visitation prior to the 11 a.m. funeral service Friday, May 5, at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, 1003 S. Main St., Middlebury. Services will be conducted by Pastors Matthew Yoder and Danny Yoder.
Burial will be at Townline Cemetery, Shipshewana.
