Dora Zook, 66, Wolcottville, passed away Monday, April 3, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.
Mrs. Zook was born Feb. 21, 1951, in LaGrange, to William A. and Anna E. (Petersheim) Miller.
In 1977, she moved to Wolcottville from Goshen, when she and her husband bought a dairy farm. She loved being on the family dairy farm and being a farm wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed her time that she spent with family, friends, and being around animals.
On July 31, 1971, in Goshen, she married Larry D. Zook. He survives in Wolcottville.
Also surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Stacy and Jason Hanaway, Wolcottville; a son and daughter-in-law, Travis and Sarah Zook, Wolcottville; five grandchildren, Wyatt and Keenan Hanaway and Olivia, Spencer and Allyson Zook; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Martha Miller, Goshen, and Barb and Allen Sharick, Shipshewana; a brother and sister-in-law, Edgar and Phyllis Miller, White Pigeon, Michigan; a sister-in-law, Carol Miller, Wolcottville; and a brother-in-law, Lamar Miller, Sturgis, Michigan.
Preceding her in death were her parents; a sister, Ella Joan Miller; a brother, Ira A. Miller; and a nephew, Phillip Miller.
Visitation will take place from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 7, at South Milford Church of Christ, 8030 E. 600 South, Wolcottville, where funeral services are set for 10 a.m. Saturday, April 8. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service. The Rev. James Bartlett will officiate the services.
Burial will follow at Woodruff Cemetery in rural Wolcottville.
Memorial contributions may be made to LaGrange County Clothes and Food Basket.
