Bill E. Hochstetler, 79, passed away July 19, in Bradenton.
He was the husband of Norma J. (Stuff) Hochstetler. They shared 59 years of marriage together.
Born in Honeyville, Indiana, Aug. 23, 1937, he was the son of Omer and Elizabeth (Ringler) Hochstetler. He graduated from Topeka High School. He was part owner of Topeka Seed & Stove.
He enjoyed summers at the lake in Indiana and spending winters in Florida. He was an avid NASCAR fan. He loved spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, children, Kim (daughter) and Larry Johnson, Kelli (daughter) and John DeVore, Kendra (daughter) and Tim Yoder; grandchildren, Shanna and Joe Karl, Jessica Cobb, Stephanie Britt, Kevin Britt, Pat and Teresa DeVore, Maggie and Josh Greifenkamp, Will DeVore and Chloe Ellis, Jordan Yoder and Amanda Fleet, Tyler Yoder; and great grandchildren, Joey Karl, Sarah and Corey Cobb, Caleb, Viviana and Blake DeVore, Janessa, Reed and Tori Greifenkamp.
A private Celebration of Life was held in Ellenton and officiated by longtime friend, Roy Swihart.
