Betty Ann Funk, 53, Millersburg, passed away at 8:53 p.m. Friday, April 14, 2017, at the home of her sister.
She was born Aug. 26, 1963, in Hutchinson, Kansas, to Walter and Amanda (Nisly) Funk.
She is survived by a brother, Harry (Margie) Funk, New Carlisle; a sister, Marie (Ben) Whirledge, Millersburg; nieces, nephews, and cousins; aunts and uncles, including her aunt, Ella Nisly of Hutchinson, Kansas, who lived with Betty and her mother for the last 10 years.
She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Funk, on Nov. 30, 1996; her mother, Amanda Funk on March 5, 2017; her brother Ruben Funk; and nephew Jason Funk.
Betty graduated from Brown County High School, Nashville, Indiana. She was a member of Clinton Brick Mennonite Church and was a volunteer at World Missionary Press. She enjoyed her many books, studying genealogy, and spending time with family and friends.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 20, at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, 1003 S. Main St., Middlebury. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the 11 a.m. funeral service on Friday, April 21, at Clinton Brick Mennonite Church, Goshen. Services will be conducted by Pastor David Hathaway. Burial will be in Clinton Brick Cemetery, Goshen.
Memorials may be given to World Missionary Press or Clinton Brick Mennonite Church.
