Arthur L. Barnett II, 52, Goshen, died at 6:01 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, at Elkhart General Hospital.
He was born July 31, 1964, in Chicago, Illinois, to Arthur L. Barnett Sr. and Barbara L. (Anderson) Greer.
He married Jennifer "Jenni" (Cramer) Barnett April 19, 1997.
Surviving are his wife, Jenni, Goshen; children, Arthur Barnett III and Brianna June Deana Barnett, both of Goshen; father, Arthur L. Barnett Sr., Florida; mother, Barbara Greer, Pacifica, California; siblings, Crystal Conklin, Jonesboro, Georgia, Michelle (Adolphus) Graham, Orlando, Florida, and Hubur (Lauren) Barnett, Goshen; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Arthur was a former executive director of Sterling House, South Bend. He was a member of Living Faith Fellowship, where he was a drummer for almost 20 years. He loved jazz music and was a great communicator. He was a grill master who even made his own custom barbecue sauce. Hosting get-togethers was his passion.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 12, at Living Faith Fellowship, 2601 Benham Ave., Elkhart, where a funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 13. Pastor Ben Stoffel will officiate.
Burial will be 11 a.m. Monday, May 15, meeting at West Goshen Cemetery.
