April Jean Inbody Butler, Olney, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 9, at Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri.
She was born April 28, 1961, in Goshen, Indiana, to Waneta (Edwards) Inbody and Charles J. Inbody, Goshen.
April is survived by her father, Charles Inbody, Nappanee, Indiana; sons, James D. Butler and Charles E. (Timia) Butler, both of Olney; sisters, Raymonde (Devon) Witmer, Goshen, and Kira (Randy) Yoder, Northfield, Minnesota; stepsisters, Gail Sands, Elkhart, Indiana, and Carolyn Lakes, Ellijay, Georgia; grandchildren, Tristin, Aria and Maddox Butler; also nieces, nephews and sisters-in-law.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Waneta; grandparents, Charles H. and Mabel Inbody, Raymond and Iola Edwards; and a good friend, Linda Clark.
April worked at Lavender Ridge Dignified Memory Care, Olney, up until her illness. Over the years, she worked at several assisted-living facilities, doing personal care or preparing food as a kitchen manager.
She enjoyed Notre Dame football and reading. Her grandchildren were the love of her life.
Visitation will be Saturday, Sept. 23, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Heritage House Senior Living, 1700 Waterfall Drive, Nappanee, Indiana.
A private family memorial service will take place at West Goshen Church Cemetery.
