William E. "Bill" Pease, 87, Seneca, South Carolina, passed away peacefully Aug. 16, after a brief illness. He lived in the Milford/New Paris, Indiana, area for more than 60 years.
Bill graduated in 1948 from Milford High School. He drove a milk-truck route for Walt Steffen for the Goshen Milk Condensery, Goshen, Indiana. He also drove truck for Martin's Feed Mill in New Paris and retired from the maintenance department of Miller Telecom, Elkhart, Indiana. Bill was a gifted handyman.
He married Marjorie Elizabeth Fisher Sept. 23, 1950, in Goshen, Indiana. She passed away Dec. 1, 2006.
He is survived by his children, Cynthia Anderson, Seneca, twins Donald (Dawn) Pease, Middlebury, Indiana, and Ronald (Barbara) Pease, Seneca, and Shelly (Matthew) Carver, Yellville, Arkansas; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two sisters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, son-in-law and eight siblings.
He will be greatly missed by his family.
Cremation took place in Seneca. There will be a celebration of life service at a later date in Indiana.
