Wendell Delano Sullivan, 76, Goshen, formerly of Texarkana, Arkansas, died 6:30 p.m. Saturday, May 27, at his residence.
He was born Nov. 23, 1940, in Ink, Arkansas, to Wendell A. and Olga Mae (Perry) Sullivan. He married Mary "Judy" (Vinson) Sullivan on Aug. 25, 1959.
Wendell is survived by his wife, Judy, three sons, Michael (Chelli) Sullivan, Goshen, James Sullivan, Fort Worth, Texas, Kevin (Judy) Sullivan, Camano Island, Washington; a granddaughter, Marci (Woodrow) Young, North Dakota; a grandson, Mitchell Sullivan, Goshen; a great-granddaughter, Zoey Young, North Dakota; a sister, Donna (Jerry) McCroskey, Choctaw, Oklahoma; and a brother, Errol Sullivan, Mobile, Alabama.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Shyla Byers.
He worked as a training consultant for the Department of Labor, Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training. For 20 years he was in the Air Force as a jet aircraft mechanic and instructor and retired as a master sergeant in the U.S. Air Force. Wendell was a member of the EAA, Experimental Aircraft Association, Chapter 938, Nappanee.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, June 3, at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Goshen. Burial will take place in Violett Cemetery at a later date.
