Truman's Story

Truman Yoder, 74, Kimmell, passed from this life to his eternal reward at 11:45 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, at his residence.
He was born Nov. 24, 1943, in Three Rivers, Michigan, to George D. and Lena Marie (Helmuth) Yoder.
Surviving are a daughter, Marsha Kay; two sons, Michael Hooley and Scott Yoder; several grandchildren; four sisters, Viola (Fred) Nissley, Clara (Marvin) Miller, Lulu (Mervin) Hochstetler, and Georganna (Sol) Yoder; two brothers, Jerry (Rhoda) Yoder and Chris (Glenda) Yoder.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Teresa Yoder.
Truman was a gun collector and enjoyed fishing and remodeling houses.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, 1003 S. Main St., Middlebury.
Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14, also at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home. Services will be conducted by Pastor John Yoder.
Burial will be at Thomas Cemetery, Goshen.
