Sheila J. Gannon, 53, of Middlebury died at 4:52 p.m. Saturday, June 3, at her residence.
She was born Aug. 13, 1963, in Goshen to Thomas and Joan (Breniser) Gannon.
Survivors include her mother in Middlebury; two sisters, Jackie Gannon of Plymouth and Patty (Rod) Stump of Nappanee; two brothers, Mark (Tracie) Gannon and David (Kris) Gannon, all of Middlebury; 15 nieces and nephews and six great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Sheila had attended ADEC and was a huge sports fan, especially following the Chicago Bears and Notre Dame football. She loved truck rides with her family, strawberry milkshakes, swimming, music and singing. She was always attracted to people in uniform, particularly policemen. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, 1003 S. Main St., Middlebury. There will be one hour of visitation prior the 1 p.m. funeral Mass Wednesday, June 7, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Bristol. Services will be conducted by Father Robert Van Kempen. Burial will be in Forest Grove Cemetery, Middlebury. Memorials may be given to either ADEC. The Chiara Home of South Bend or Project Promise.
