Rosanna's Story

Rosanna Yoder Hostetler, 87, died at Brandywine Hall in West Chester, Pennsylvania, Jan. 29.
Born June 9, 1930, in Elverson, to John and Anna Yoder, Rose graduated from Goshen College in Goshen, Indiana. Along with her late husband, David, she served the Mennonite Church as a missionary in Brazil. She was the manager of Provident Bookstore in Scottdale for many years.
She is survived by her sister, Mary Ellen Yoder; brother, Lester Yoder; three sons, D. Michael Hostetler (Virginia Schwartzentruber), Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, J. Marcos Hostetler (Anita Stutzman), Reinholds, and James D. Hostetler (Sandi Hartzler), Cassopolis, Michigan; two daughters, Marcella Hostetler (Lamonte Garber), Lancaster, and Monica Harnish (Steve Harnish), Bluffton, Ohio; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will take place Saturday, March 24, at 3 p.m. at Scottdale Mennonite Church.
