Ronald "Ron" E. Miller, 83, Goshen, died at 4:10 a.m. Sunday, June 11, at Goshen Hospital.
He was born June 15, 1933, in Goshen, to Warren W. and Viola A. (Miller) Miller.
He first married Marilyn A. Miller July 15, 1957. She passed away Nov. 11, 2000.
He then married the former Marie VanderReyden May 9, 2009.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Miller, Goshen; sons, Greg (Mary) Miller, South Bend, Mike (Sandy) Miller, Goshen, and Steve Miller, Fort Wayne; a brother, Roy (Colette) Miller, Coldwater, Michigan; two sisters, Mary (John) Culp, Hesston Kansas, and Miriam Black, Goshen; seven granddaughters; three great-grandchildren; three stepdaughters, Sandy (Bill) Lowe, Bristol, Julie (Mike) Nordin, Syracuse, and Jane (Tony) Ciriello, Milford; and a stepson, Steve (Deb) VanderReyden, Syracuse.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Wilbur Miller; and a sister, Luella Eash.
Ron was a 1951 graduate of Millersburg High School. He served in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1955. He was the owner/founder of Ron's Dupont Paints, Goshen. He was a member of the (First English) Faith Lutheran Church, Goshen.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Goshen, and 30 minutes prior to the 3 p.m. service Wednesday, June 14, at (First English) Faith Lutheran Church, 406 S. Fifth St., Goshen. Pastor John Hickey will officiate.
Burial will take place at Clinton Union Cemetery.
