Roger Dale Condict


Roger Dale Condict, 65, Goshen, died at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, at his residence after an extended illness.
He was born Sept. 3, 1953, in Ypsilanti, Michigan, to Roy and Eunice (Jackson) Condict.
He married Zetta (Klingaman) Condict Oct. 18, 1980, at St. John's Lutheran Church of Fish Lake, Goshen.
Surviving are his wife, Zetta Condict, Goshen; children, Renee (Larry) Schwartz and Stephanie (Antonio) Resendiz, both of Goshen, Jeremy (Monica) Condict, Warsaw, Jessica (Ryan) Fowler and Joshua (Nicole) Condict, both of Goshen; brothers, Gary (Lillie) Condict, Goshen, and Verlin R. (Betsy) Condict, Milford; sisters, Teresa (Rick) Davis, Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and Darla (Mike) Newcomer, Wakarusa; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death are his parents.
Roger worked at Western Rubber for 21 years and at L&W Engineering for 17 years. He was an avid bowler for many years prior to being inducted into the Goshen Bowling Hall of Fame in 2010.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Goshen, where a funeral service will begin at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12. Pastor James Clifton will officiate.
Burial will be at a later date at Forest Grove Cemetery, Middlebury.
Memorial donations may be directed to St. John's Lutheran Church of Fish Lake or Goshen Hospice.
