Rhonda Lee Mast of Corvallis, Oregon, and formerly of Goshen, died Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith E. Mast, in 2007. She was born in Goshen to Everett L. and Frances E. (Rule) Holderman.
Rhonda graduated from the University of Colorado School of Nursing in 1962 and was employed as a surgery nurse at Goshen General Hospital until 1966. After the birth of her daughters, Rhonda returned to work at her father's grocery store, Everett's, until retirement.
Rhonda will be remembered for her gentleness, kindness, good humor and generosity. Her many lifelong interests were reflected by her participation in church vocal and bell choirs, reading, traveling, and love of the American West. Her artistic talents were expressed through her highly skilled sewing, baking and homemaking for her family, and charitable work through her churches.
Friends may call one hour prior to the Saturday, Sept. 30, 11 a.m. memorial service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A private burial at Violett Cemetery will precede the service.
Memorial contributions may be given to Goshen City Church of the Brethren or the Boys and Girls Club of Goshen.
Rhonda is survived by two daughters, Jennifer and Suzanna Mast, and a brother, David (Diane) Holderman.
