Reatha F. Lambert, 94, Nappanee, died at 1:40 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 3, at Miller's Merry Manor, Wakarusa.
She was born June 30, 1923, in Bourbon, to Russell and Bessie (Lemler) Dumph. She was a lifetime area resident. Reatha was a graduate of Nappanee High School.
On Dec. 19, 1943, she married Louis Lambert in Goshen. He preceded her in death in 2004.
She retired from Johnson Controls in Goshen, where she had worked for many years. Reatha was a member of Nappanee Missionary Church. She enjoyed being part of the Elder Haus in Nappanee.
Surviving are her sons, Dennis (Elaine) Lambert, Nappanee, Bradley (Jane) Lambert, Pooler, Georgia; son-in-law, Joe Anderson, Syracuse; daughter, Sharon Holderman, Goshen; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 23 great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Keith (Kay) Dumph, Summerville, South Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Lambert; daughter, Cynthia Anderson; grandson, Brad Hollar; great-grandson, Sean Anderson; brother, Junior Dumph; and sisters, Carol Dean Haney and June Huffman.
Family and friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee.
Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8, also at the funeral home. The Rev. Dave Engbrecht will officiate.
Burial will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Goshen.
Memorial contributions may be given to Salvation Army.
