Raymond "Merle" Randolph

Raymond Merle Randolph Raymond "Merle" Randolph, 85, formerly of Floyds Knobs, passed away peacefully Sunday, Nov. 25, at Greencroft Goshen Health Care.
Merle was a member of the Remnant Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where he served as a priest.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, a musician, a woodworker and could repair anything from clocks to lawnmowers. Merle volunteered at health-care centers, playing music for residents.
He was employed as a photolithographer at the former Queens Litho and Kentucky Printing, retiring after 34 years.
Merle was born Sept. 2, 1933, to the late Thomas and Hester Pauline (Stewart) Randolph.
Survivors include his loving wife of 59 years, Sharon Randolph; daughter, Melissa Randolph Kinsey; son, Michael (Caroline) Randolph; brothers, Wayne and Robert Randolph; and many nephews, nieces and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Don; and sister, Marilyn.
Two celebration of life gatherings are planned: Sunday, Dec. 2, at 2:30 p.m. at the Remnant Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 4900 W. Luther Road, Floyds Knobs; and Dec. 7, at 2 p.m. at Greencroft Evergreen Place, 1820 Greencroft Blvd., Goshen.
