Phyllis I. Dozier, 70, Shipshewana, died at 10:44 a.m. Thursday, May 10, at Courtyard of Goshen.
She was born July 20, 1947, in Elkhart County, to Perry and Florence (Marks) Miller.
On Jan. 8, 1966, in Elkhart, she married James "Kelly" Dozier, to whom she was deeply devoted to for 52 years. He survives.
In addition to her husband, surviving are two daughters, Shari (Gary) Yacks and Brenda Wade; four grandchildren, Karen, Sydney, Rebecca and Michael; and sister, Virginia (Keith) Yoder.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Justin Woods; two sisters, Judith Hogendobler and Katherine Long.
She was a retired accountant and bookkeeper who worked for 40 years. She loved her grandchildren and collecting frogs.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, May 14, followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m. at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, 1003 S. Main St., Middlebury.
Burial will be at Grace Lawn Cemetery, Middlebury.
Memorials may be given to Heartland Hospice.
