Peggy Jo Davis


Peggy Jo Davis, 61, Goshen, died at 1:50 p.m. Saturday, July 13, at Center for Hospice Care, Elkhart.
She was born Aug. 22, 1957, in Goshen, to Ralph and Eloise (Holdeman) Davis.
Surviving are her caregiver and friend, Donna Hopkins, Goshen; three sisters, Linda Holdeman, Ohio, Betty Kidd, Goshen, Margo Davis (Alan Beam), Bristol; and a brother, Mike (Peggy) Davis, Indiana.
Preceding her in death are her parents; a brother, Gene Davis; and sister, Dixie Tucker.
Peggy worked at Chris-Craft Boat in quality control; worked nine months for Disney World, Florida; and worked at White Veterinarian Hospital, Goshen, for 20 years. Peg was a longtime Notre Dame fan, loved to bowl and was also a Goshen Bowling Association Hall of Fame inductee. She passed her love of bowling down by coaching in the youth program at Maple City Bowl. Though she had no children, she had a special love for her fur babies, Abby and Echo.
No services are planned at this time.

I remember Peg from the Vet's Office. She was a great gal, and always made me laugh when I saw her. She had a love for big dogs that I share. She will be missed.
