Patricia "Pat" Ann Bontrager White, 75, Goshen, formerly of Middlebury, died at 7:24 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3, at Courtyard of Goshen, where she had stayed the past two months. She had been in declining health the past year and a half.
She was born May 17, 1942, in Mexico, Missouri, to Wallace and Nellie (Teall) White.
Surviving are daughter, Joni (Ben) Jones, Jackson, Michigan; two sons, Tony Bontrager, Goshen, and Troy (Angie) Bontrager, Milford; eight grandchildren; a great-grandson; three sisters, Marge Vaugh, Henryetta, Texas, Helen Gray, Benton Harbor, Michigan, and Charlotte Hoffman, South Bend; three brothers, Jack White, Middlebury, Don (Sheila) White, Hannibal, Missouri, and Tim "J.T." (Addie) White, Bristol.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Todd Bontrager; and two sisters, JoAnn Singell and Betty Hoffman.
Patricia loved her grandchildren dearly. She graduated from Elkhart High School in 1960 and attended The Church in Benton Harbor and Gospel Kingdom Church in Louisville, Kentucky.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, followed by a 1 p.m. memorial service, all at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, Middlebury.
Burial will be at a later date at Grace Lawn Cemetery, Middlebury.
Memorials may be given to Goshen Home Care & Hospice.
