Orvin J. Eash, 71, Goshen, passed away at 7:08 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, at Goshen Hospital.
He was born April 6, 1946, in Middlebury, to Daniel and Susan (Chupp) Eash. He was a lifetime Goshen/Middlebury area resident and graduated from Middlebury High School.
He was married Oct. 21, 2017, in Goshen, to Elizabeth H. "Liz" (Coleman) Green, who survives.
He was employed at Indiana Wood Products in Middlebury for 24 years. He formerly attended the Eighth Street Mennonite Church in Goshen; was a coach for youth sports; and loved bowling and softball.
He is survived by his wife, Liz Green-Eash, Goshen; daughter, Michelle Eash, Cumming, Georgia; son, Matt (Rachelle) Eash, Cumming, Georgia; five grandchildren; and two sisters, Vera Igou, Denver, Colorado, and Lorene Hostetler, Goshen.
He was preceded by his parents; two sisters, Mable Yoder and Kathleen Davidhizor; and brother, Ora Eash.
A celebration of life gathering will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, at Greencroft Meeting House, 1225 Greencroft Drive, Goshen.
Preferred memorials may be given to Team challenge.
