Obie "Bud" C. Miller, 86, Goshen, went to be with his Lord and Savior at 11:15 a.m. Monday, March 5, at the Center for Hospice Care, Elkhart.
He was born on June 22, 1931, in LaGrange County, to Chris and Abbie (Lehman) Miller.
On Dec. 29, 1951, in Constantine, Michigan, he married G. Joan Wright, who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Kathy (Gary) Kirklin, Muncie, Connie (Rick) Campbell, Goshen, Sally (Ernest "Barny") Miller, Topeka; son, Douglas (Linda) Miller, Boerne, Texas; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; an expected great-grandchild; four sisters, Wilma Mast and Mary Ellen (David) Beachy, both of Goshen, Esther (Emanuel) Miller, Halfway, Missouri, LeAnna (Marion) Kauffman, Middlebury; brother, John Miller, Goshen.
He was preceded in death by his parents; great-grandson, Liam Morris; two sisters, Katie Miller and Ida Mae Mast; three brothers, Chris, Elmer and Omer Miller.
He was a member of Porter Baptist Church in Constantine, Michigan, and had worked in management at Western Rubber for 40 years. He had served in the Navy during the Korean War.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 8, at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, 1003 S. Main St., Middlebury.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m., Friday, March 9, also at the funeral home. Services will be conducted by Pastor Randy Patterson.
Burial will be at Miller Cemetery, Goshen.
Memorials may be given to Porter Baptist Church.
