Nellie M. Penn, 88, formerly of Goshen, died Thursday, June 1, at Life Care Center of LaGrange.
She was born Jan. 23, 1929, in Wabash, to Kenneth and Edith (Garrett) Culver.
Survivors include two daughters, Dixie Barton, Denton, Texas, and Jane Cooper, Elkhart; a son, James (Lucy) Fearnow, LaGrange; 19 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and a sister, Edna Campbell, Wabash.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Packer, in 1987, a grandson and a sister.
Nellie was a member of Healing Hill Cathedral in Delaware, Ohio. She owned and operated several businesses including, Home for Elderly, Pennelles Cleaning Service, Roadrunner Reruns and Ministry Tours.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 7, from 11 a.m. to noon at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen.
A graveside service will follow at Violett Cemetery. The Rev. Jim Shrock will officiate.
