Nadene  Henry
Nadene Henry, 97, Goshen, passed into the presence of her Savior, whom she loved and had faithfully served in ministry with her husband for 70 years, at 1:13 a.m. Friday, April 5, at Greencroft Healthcare, Goshen.
She was born Dec. 22, 1921, in Broughton, Illinois, to William Clay and Felcye Irene (Crouse) Carlisle.
On Dec. 8, 1945, she married Brooks N. Henry in Akron, Ohio.
Surviving are her husband, Pastor Brooks Henry, Goshen; daughters, Darlene Kay (Stan) Knafel, New Paris, Bonnie Lee King, Dunlap, Tennessee; son, Brooks N. (Doreen) Henry II, LaPorte; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are her parents; sister, Ila Robertson, and twin sister, Imagene Britton; and a son-in-law, James King.
Nadene was a pastor's wife and homemaker. She was a member of the Bible Baptist Church.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the 10:30 a.m. memorial service, May 11, at the Bible Baptist Church, 205. E. Waterford St., Wakarusa. Pastor David Harper will officiate.
Memorial donations may be directed to the Bible Baptist Church.
