Mary E. Weaver, 91, Topeka, died at 4:37 a.m. Monday, Jan. 8, at Millers Merry Manor, LaGrange.
She was born April 30, 1926, in Reno County, Kansas, to Enos J. and Mattie (Yoder) Fry.
On April 16, 1946, in Topeka, she married Jonas L. Weaver. He died Dec. 13, 2004.
Surviving are three daughters, Katie (John) Schlabach and Ada Mae Graber, both of Shipshewana, Sue (Ben) Schwartz of Waterloo, New York; three sons, Lee (Lizzie) Weaver and Freeman (Mary) Weaver, both of Topeka, Delbert (Susie) Weaver of LaGrange; 38 grandchildren; 216 great-grandchildren; 96 great-great grandchildren; 10 stepgrandchildren; 23 step-great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Wilma (Amos Jay) Miller of Shipshewana.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; infant son and daughter, Daniel and Vera Weaver; grandson, Jerry Weaver; two great-granddaughters; son-in-law, Ray A. Borntrager; two sisters, Katie Bontrager and Lizzie Bontrager; three brothers, Amos, Levi and Joe Fry.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9, and all day Wednesday, Jan. 10, at the Lee Weaver residence, 0825 S. 700 West, Topeka.
Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. Thursday Jan. 11, also at the Lee Weaver residence. Services will be conducted by Bishop Harley Mast and the home ministers.
Burial will be at Yoder Cemetery, Shipshewana.
Arrangements are with Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, Middlebury.
