Mary E. Logan, 87, died Tuesday, Nov. 7, at the home of her daughter.
She was born Oct. 11, 1930, in Jefferson County, Alabama, to the Rev. Olin Clint and Gertrude (Henderson) Tidwell.
On Aug. 14, 1946, she married Dwight Moody Logan. He died April 11, 2001.
Survivors include three children, Mary Ann (Lyle) Crider, Locust Fork, Alabama, Betty (Kirby) Freeland, Goshen, and William Michael (Aycil) Logan, Cleveland, Alabama; seven grandchildren, including local grandchildren, Amy (Teshon) Sanders and Brian (Victoria) Freeland; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
A local resident the past 10 years, Mary was a member of Goshen Christian Church. Prior to moving to Indiana, she attended Rosa United Methodist Church, and Locust Fork Baptist Church in Alabama, and worked as a sewer for 23 years at Blue Bell making Wrangler jeans.
She enjoyed attending ladies Bible studies, fishing and preserving fruits and vegetables.
Friends may call Thursday, Nov. 9, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen, and Friday, Nov. 10, one hour prior to the 11 a.m. funeral service at Goshen Christian Church, 2133 Berkey Ave., Goshen. Pastor Kim Huffman will officiate.
Burial will take place at Dailey's Chapel Cemetery, Oneonta, Alabama.
