Marjorie N. Gunden, 91, of Goshen and Naples, died Tuesday, Sept. 26, at Lutheran Towers, Orlando, Florida.
She was born Feb. 24, 1926, in Hopedale, Illinois, to C. Ralph and Katherine (Eichelberger) Nafziger.
On Aug. 2, 1947, she married Elton A. Gunden in Hopedale, Illinois. He preceded her in death Sept. 4, 2007.
Survivors include three daughters, Rebecca (Stephen) Smith, Hilton Head, South Carolina, Barbara (Everett) Thomas, Goshen and Carol Gunden, Winston Salem, North Carolina; a son, Steven (Deborah) Gunden, Naples, Florida; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a brother, Lynn Nafziger, Goshen.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Doris Springer and Darlene Owen.
Marjorie was a lifelong teacher and educator. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Naples, Florida.
Friends may call Saturday, Sept. 30, from noon until the 1 p.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastor Pamela Yoder, College Mennonite Church will officiate.
There will be a Celebration of Life service in Naples at a later date.
Burial will follow at Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
