M. Gregg McIntosh, 65, Wawaka, died Tuesday at Goshen Hospital. He had been ill since January.
He was born May 28, 1952, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, to Bryce "Glen" and Adele G. (Birkinshaw) McIntosh.
On Sept. 20, 1984, he married Nancy Maus in Winston Salem, North Carolina. She survives along with daughters, Cindy Maus, Enola, Pennsylvania, Pamela Perrelli, Middletown, Pennsylvania, and Kelly (Bill) Helsley, New Cumberland, Pennsylvania; five grandchildren, Megan, Ashley, Anna, Andy and Ben; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Julia Datish, Cortland, Ohio, and Sue (Kim) Wilfong, Goshen; and brother, Bruce McIntosh, North Freedom, Wisconsin.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Gregg was a 1970 graduate of Goshen High School, where he participated in tennis and swimming.
He was a part owner of McIntosh Greenhouse and Garden Center, Goshen, from 1976 until 1995. He and Nancy started their own business, McIntosh Show Landscapes in 1995, landscaping recreational vehicle and other trade shows.
He attended Ligonier Evangelical Church and formerly attended Zion Community Church, Millersburg. As hobbies, Gregg enjoyed fly fishing and beekeeping.
Friends may call Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen, and Saturday one hour prior to the 11 a.m. memorial service at the funeral home. Pastors Troy Diersing, Ligonier Evangelical Church, and Chris Howell, former pastor at Zion Community Church, will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts be directed to the American Cancer Society or Turning Point Educational Center, Ligonier.
