Lloyd H. Stutzman, 82, of Nappanee, died at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, at Miller's Merry Manor, Wakarusa.
He was born Dec. 22, 1935, in Kosciusko County to Harvey D. and Rosa (Slabaugh) Stutzman. Lloyd was a lifetime area resident. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church. On Nov. 22, 1956, he married Frieda Schmucker in Elkhart County. Lloyd was a farmer.
He is survived by his wife, Frieda Stutzman; sons, LaVern (Lou Ida) Stutzman, Nappanee, Arlen (Louise) Stutzman, Goshen, Gary (Barbara) Stutzman and Paul (Marla) Stutzman, both of Nappanee, Jerry Stutzman, Topeka, Kevin (Mary Jane) Stutzman, Etna Green; daughters, Katharine (Paul) Miller, Nappanee, Kathleen (Steve) Yoder, Etna Green, and Linda (David) Bontrager, Nappanee; 31 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; brother, Harvey (Bonnie Jean) Stutzman Jr., Shipshewana; sister, Kathryn (Earl) Yoder, Nappanee; and a brother-in-law, Herman Yoder, Milford.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Brian Stutzman; parents; sisters, Tressie Helmuth and Fern Yoder; and brother-in-law, Edwin Helmuth.
Family and friends may call after 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 12, and all day Tuesday, Feb. 13, at the John Schwartz residence, 30048 ½ C.R. 52. Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14 at the Wilson Yoder residence, 29607 C.R. 52. Home ministry of the Old Order Amish Church will officiate. Burial will be in Weldy Cemetery.
