Lloyd Earl Kammerdiener, 84, of Syracuse, passed away at 7:29 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, at Miller's Merry Manor in Syracuse.
He was born Oct. 3, 1933, in Goshen, to Volney G. and Hazel M. (Lewallen) Kammerdiener.
He moved to Syracuse in 1948 from Goshen, and graduated in 1952 from New Paris High School.
On Aug. 3, 1963 in Erie, Indiana, he married Lucille "Lucy" (Babcock) Miller who survives.
He retired Aug. 12, 2005, from Smoker Craft in New Paris, and was formerly employed at Weatherhead in Syracuse, Switches in Goshen and Kreuter Manufacturing in New Paris.
He was a member of the Syracuse Church of God where he held many various offices.
He is survived by wife Lucy Kammerdiener of Syracuse; two daughters, Cathy Marie (Michael) Coy of Syracuse and Amy Sue (Jon) Lippe of Claypool; six grandchildren, Alissa Hewitt, Cayla Coy, Tiffany (Travis) Goff, Liza Lippe, Madelyn Lippe and Bryce Lippe; four stepgrandchildren; four stepgreat-grandchildren; one stepgreat-great-granddaughter and a brother, Ralph (Doris) Kammerdiener of Syracuse.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Tonda Kay (Miller) Hewitt; and sister and brother-in-law, Delores and John Hartzler.
Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 26, at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 27, in the funeral home, with Pastors Stan Owen and Derek Coy officiating. Burial will follow in Syracuse Cemetery.
