Lewis "Lewie" Edward Weaver, 80, Goshen, formerly of Wakarusa, died at 2 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, at Goshen Hospital.
He was born June 26, 1938, in Elkhart, to Levon B. Weaver and Thelma O. (Hartman) Weaver Lechlitner.
He married Janet (Hattery) Weaver April 28, 1957. She died Feb. 12, 1999. On June 1, 2002, he married Judy (Demarco) Folk-Weaver.
Surviving are his wife, Judy, Goshen; daughters, Tena Weaver, Houston, Texas, and Tanya (Duane) Miller, Middlebury; grandsons, Kevin (Brooke) Miller, Wakarusa, and Cody (Caitlin) Miller, Middlebury; great-grandchildren, Kasen, Kohen, Beckham Miller and Moyer and Mack Miller; sister, Wanda (Laverne) Miller, New Paris; stepchildren, Dina (Charlie) Payne, David Folk and Diane (Dennis) Bailey, all of Goshen, and Michael Folk, Wesley Chapel, Florida.
Preceding him in death are his parents and first wife, Janet.
Lewie worked for Whitehall Laboratories, CTS, Pink and Blue Apparel, The Farmer's Exchange Insurance Service and Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Homes. He was a member of the Wakarusa Missionary Church and an auction enthusiast.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Goshen, and one hour prior to the 10:30 a.m. service Friday, Sept. 14, at Wakarusa Missionary Church, 202 W. Waterford St., Wakarusa. Pastors Chris and Harold Knight will officiate.
Burial will follow at Olive (West) Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to the Wakarusa Missionary Church.
